Too basic, generic, shallow tampering in symbolic dreaming...thumbs
down!Reviewed by Remington L. White, 2010-02-17
This dream dictionary is pretty terrible. Each definition is so
generic, I could have written it myself with no prior knowledge on
dream symbolism. There are literally a few sentences for each
symbol. What are you supposed to get out of that? If you're really
interested in dream interpretation, I would recommend buying a book
that's a lot more in depth. The same day I bought this book, I also
bought "The Inner Eye - A Guide To Self Awareness Through Your
Dreams" by Joan Windsor. I haven't finished it yet, but it's
extremely interesting and much more helpful than this
dictionary.
In general, I think any dream dictionary should be a supporting
tool with other, more serious dream interpretation practices.
My First Dream Dictionary-I made a great decision to buy!Reviewed by K. Santos, 2009-04-25
I love this book! As soon as I have a dream, I grab the book and look it up. It's so interesting! I would recommend it to anyone. It's very easy to read/look up. I'm glad I purchased it.
Best Dream DictionaryReviewed by Savage Beast, 2009-01-21
This is one of many dream dictionaries I have purchased. It helped me to look through the sections Amazon could show before I bought it. I agree when people say that you need to get a dream dictionary where the interpretations make sense TO YOU! This book gives various definitions to each symbol like a dictionary. Unlike my other dream dictionaries all the interpretations were spot on for what was occuring in my life. It was interesting to see how my mind portrayed them while I was sleeping. This newer dictionary gives some modern symbols left out of some of my other dictionaries. Symbols like cell phones and other modern day technological convienences. This was the best for me and I hope it turns out to be the best one for you also.
A basic book with not much substance on dreamsReviewed by E. Bales, 2007-12-26
I have a number of dream books, but this one was okay and very basic. The explanations of dream symbols were very short and did not give you much insight nor the tools needed to analyse your dreams in depth. It is a basic dream book and I would rate it average.
Idiot's Dream GuideReviewed by J. Hallum, 2007-12-26
This is the most comprehensive dream book I've seen. Very informative and easy to read.
